Howdy! Welcome to WRP’s website. We’re now celebrating our 12th year on the web! We want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to inspire you with our photography and thoughts. With just shy of 2100 pages all written by me, you'll find tons of information here for you to READ and learn and be inspired by. MoosePeterson.com is a website dedicated to my great passion, wildlife photography. Lots go into that passion, everything from the tools and techniques to capturing the image to the tools and techniques to presenting the final image. MoosePeterson.com reflects most of the tools and techniques I use everyday to make a living as a photographer and photographically communicate my passion for North America's wildlife and wild places. In 2008, we'll be bringing you even more in bird photography and mammal / big game photography. Stay tuned for some new innovations in learning. While I would prefer constantly updating this site to keep it current, that’s just not physically possible. Many take what’s here as gospel or completely up to date and that simply isn’t true. Even if it were, you, the photographer must determine what works for you and than ignore the rest! Just like you should be doing with your photography, my photography grows so tools, techniques and ideas change. Ever wonder how I capture the images you see here, in our BT Journal, our books or the hundreds of articles we have in print? Wonder how I get the results I do digitally and wonder why they don't match your results? You might want to read one of the many tutorials posted here such as in the Digital Darkroom pages. Are you interested in learning more personally from me directly? We offer a number of ways to make that happen with our Digital Landscape Workshop Series, our Wildlife Photographer’s Base Camp, Private Tutoring/Coaching or the Moose Peterson's Master Light Program? You've come to the right place! There is lots of content such as Moose’s Camera Bag and Digital Darkroom pages. This is just a small part of the Digital Library you want to check out. All of this is free information that you can use as it fits your style of photography. Not all the information here will, so YOU must be the photographer and determine what works for you and what doesn't. Just keep in mind that what's here is what works for me. Moose Blog |
